Launch and $6M Raise Announcement


Situation
Australia’s only white label BNPL player, Limepay, was ready to make its public launch with the close of an oversubscribed $6 million seed round. Limepay was completely changing the game for Australia’s fast-growing BNPL sector. However, no one had ever heard of them, or understood why a white label solution was even required.
Solution
Third Hemisphere implemented a series of media campaigns strategically explaining Limepay’s entirely unique proposition and the reasons why this new form of BNPL was urgently needed by the retail industry. The first story was offered as an exclusive to one of Australia’s most eminent technology journalists, Yolanda Redrup at the AFR, who we determined would best understand how transformative the Limepay BNPL solution was. The media release was then mass-distributed across relevant trade press once Yolanda’s story was published.
Results
This first-time launch campaign created outstanding publicity figures that also translated to a huge spike in Limepay’s web traffic and customer inquiries. The AFR story featured prominently, and media coverage in trade press continued for weeks. Limepay was immediately recognised as one of the top competitors and potential disruptors to the incumbent ASX-listed BNPL companies.
